First post on the new blog has to begin with one of the classic sales speeches in cinema ; think while you watch this... do you want to work for Alec? Is he inspiring? How is he pushing his people to be the best? Would you speak to your team this way?
His sales advice is sound and what you hear in training rooms around the country (Always Be Closing baby!). The most important concept a good salesperson should take with them from the monologue is “people want to buy”. Nobody shops just to shop, they want your product; your job is to help them to own it, be tough, don't quit and everyone leaves happy. As far as Alec's leadership style, think about this, people don't leave jobs.... they leave leaders, what kind of leader are you?
